Alexis White

Alexis White studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Eastman School of Music, New York. The winner of many prestigious prizes and scholarships, most notably first prize in the Seventh Noyers International Piano Competition in France, Alexis has given recitals and concerto performances throughout the U.K. and abroad.

She has collaborated with many distinguished artists including Rafal Zambrzycki-Payne, Akiko Ono, Guy Johnston, Jiafeng Chen, the Sacconi Quartet, the Navarra Quartet and the Galliard Ensemble. In 2018 she was invited to give a week of masterclasses in China, followed by a recital which was broadcast on Chinese television. Alexis has also broadcast for Scottish Radio, Classic FM, Radio Suisse Romane and featured for several years as a Countess of Munster artist.

Alexis is currently Head of Keyboard at St Paul’s Girls’ School in London and teaches at the Yehudi Menuhin School. She is also an examiner for ABRSM.

Jenna Main

Jenna Main has been ABRSM’s Regional Development Executive for Scotland for the past 4 years. This role involves engaging with the wider music community from Music Services to Schools, Private Teachers to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland introducing all teachers, parents and candidates to the full suite of ABRSM products and services.

Jenna has experience of ABRSM from having been a candidate herself achieving her Dip ABRSM (Violin) in 2011. Jenna previously taught and entered many pupils for both violin and piano exams. Alongside her performing and teaching career, Jenna was also one of our team of Honorary Local Representatives for 11 years.

Through a scholarship, Jenna received Violin lessons at the North East of Scotland Music School under Gillian Findlay and went on to study Music at the University of Aberdeen leading the University of Aberdeen Orchestra during her time there. Jenna now works full time for ABRSM whilst performing in both the classical and traditional music scenes across Scotland.
