Helen Sanderson – Glasgow/Manchester
Helen studied guitar at the Royal College of Music. As well as having a prestigious performing career, she is a composer, arranger and sought-after masterclass artist, adjudicator and international jury member for competitions such as BBC Young Musician of the Year. She has been Director of the Guitar Foundation of America’s International Youth Competition and Winchester Guitar Festival, and recently appeared as the classical industry expert for the Sky Arts series ‘Guitar Star’.
Gary Ryan – London
Gary studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. He has taught at the Royal College of Music since 1996 and combines his role there as Assistant Head of Strings with a varied freelance career as a performer, composer, adjudicator and examiner. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Music in 2013.
